People who spend a lot of their time outdoors tend to be far-sighted, and lots of Texans are. Some of us, of course, are near-sighted. We really need good glasses to see the details of the landscape and wildlife the way we want to.
There are always other things to do besides shopping for glasses. And some of us, truth to tell, are a little vain. We don't like to admit we need glasses, and we hate to shop for them.
